I'm writing this with the hope you never has to read it. I always thought without Lennie I'd die somewhere drunk in a ditch. One thing I know for sure is that ain't how I went out. No matter what I'm glad of that and I hope you can be to. One day at least.

I never used to let myself think about courting no woman cuz I didn't have two sticks to rub together and no prospects. I let myself think about it with you.
